22nd May 2022 Will be the 40th anniversary of the races and we are looking forward the races being back to normal

Entry now open.

Early bird rates till the end of february or until the allocation is used.

Covid-19

 To protect everyone envolved with the Races in 2022 all entrants will be required to be fully vaccinated (according to their age) and tested negative within 48 hours of the Races start in accordance with the English Government policy at that time

The 2021 virtual races are scheduled to take place on the weekend of the 22-23 may.

 all those who have entered but did not take part in the virtual 2020 races will automatically be re-entered in the 2021 event

TROPHIES FOR ALL AGES

Please note that as well as the UKA official ages, Seniors 21-34 and Master 34+, we are iagain awarding trophies for 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. For full list of trophies to the look at the INFO tab.

COMMERATIVE SHIELDS

In addition to a trophy and a gift token for £100 for the 10 mile road race the winning male will be awarded the Andrew Britter Shield and the winning female the Amanda Hendrie Shield. The Clubs will retain the shields and each year have them engraved with the winners’ name. Both winners will be sent a framed photograph of their being presented.

We are introducing a special Runners T-Shirt for 2020 in colour burgundy with the new Baddow Races logo. It is a high-quality item made from a textured fabric with inherent wickability.

A big thank you once again to Lee Sturgess and his team at Polar Creative for the many hours of work that has gone into this uupdating the website. Lee ran in the 10 Mile in 2018 and decided that our website needed upgrading. This is the result.

WHEELCHAIR RACERS.

We are happy for wheelchair racers to take part in the 10 Mile. However, they will start at 10.45 and will not do the first lap of the grounds. They must also know their Highway Code. There is already one person who wishes to take part. If you wish to join in enter online and just send an email that you are a wheelchair racer to info@baddowraces.co.uk
